Megan is a 6th year Graduate Student, having started at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009, BS in Psychology with minors in Neuroscience and Sociology.
Research Interests: I am interested in understanding how disruptions in circadian rhythms may impact both mood and cognition. Given the high prevalence of depression and cognition difficulties in patients recovering from traumatic brain injury, I am specifically interested in how circadian disruption may contribute to poor recovery from injury and how this may be leveraged to produce novel interventions in this sample.
Future Plans: I will be a pre-doctoral clinical psychology intern at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, Puget Sound in Seattle starting in August, 2017.
Personal Interests: I really enjoy hot yoga and work at a local studio. I also love dogs and have been known to be very distracted by puppies!
